My first post will be a goodbye rather than a hello. Our good friend at Legume, Alberto Fierro, will be returning home to Mexico in a couple of short weeks, after his year-long stay with us in the U.S. He came here to learn how to speak English, but will take home with him more than just a second language. I know that if his memories of us are as sentimental as ours of him, he will reflect on the way we lived for much longer than he will the way we spoke.
We will remember you Alberto.
